Simple F Chord


The F chord is often considered the most difficult chord for beginners.
In this short video we demonstrate five different ways to play an F chord.
The simplest - playing on just the top two strings - is an example of what we might call a
"pass thru chord" used for a quick transition from another chord (often a C chord)
to a different chord (usually a V (G) or I (C). We explain them in this video.
